Hi:
I'm Michael Grant. Like it says right there in the headline.
I'm the author of GONE and its sequels (Arriving soon. Hey, I'm writing as fast as I can. Don't nag me.) I'm also the co-author, with my wife, K.A. Applegate (I usually just call her "K." K.A. is so formal.) of 150 books. Which is a scary number, isn't it? I can't quite believe it myself. Only a crazy person writes that much. If I had discovered Zoloft earlier in life I'm pretty sure I'd have written like, eight books.
The picture is me at Mont Saint Michel. Just off-screen are the wife and the two kids, 9 and 12. (That's their names. But I may change my mind and rename them. Next year I may decide to call them 10 and 13.)
Is this piece long enough yet? Wait! Must link to the blog:
http://stupidblogname.com.
And that's pretty much it. Bye.
No, wait! In addition to the GONE series, it looks like I will be authoring another series to be called MAGNIFICENT 12.
That's really it. All done.

Seriously, 150 books?!? I can't even imaging writing that many.
My name is Chris Tusa, and I'm a writer from New Orleans. My debut novel, Dirty Little Angels, is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com, and I am writing because I was hoping you might be willing to read it and post your thoughts on Amazon.com (or some of the other book review sites). If you're interested, I'd be more than willing to send you an e-book version by e-mail. Just let me know. I've included a summary of the novel below:
Dirty Little Angels
Set in the slums of New Orleans, among clusters of crack houses and abandoned buildings, Dirty Little Angels is the story of sixteen year old Hailey Trosclair. When the Trosclair family suffers a string of financial hardships and a miscarriage, Hailey finds herself looking to God to save her family. When her prayers go unanswered, Hailey puts her faith in Moses Watkins, a failed preacher and ex-con. Fascinated by Moses's lopsided view of religion, Hailey, and her brother Cyrus, begin spending time down at an abandoned bank that Moses plans to convert into a drive-through church. Gradually, though, Moses's twisted religious beliefs become increasingly more violent, and Hailey and Cyrus soon find themselves trapped in a world of danger and fear from which there may be no escape.

My older son, now 18, was a real fan of the Animorphs books when he was a tyke. I'll have to buy Gone for my 13 yr old, who was just the other day trying to imagine a world in which he and his classmates were the only survivors of some worldwide disaster. It gets complicated!
Gone sounds awesome!
Cheers, Lesley
I just got the galley for my second book Living on Impulse. Coming out in Aug. 09. Such a good feeling to see it in it's done form.
Do you still feel that way...after all you've written.
Cheers,
-Cara
I can't wait to read Gone. My friends can't stop talking about it!
