I have to agree with Kim on her blog -Growing A Reader. I am also very thrilled when a reader has expressed to me that my book has made them cry, laugh or whatever. It means I have done my job in getting to the core of that person's emotions with just written words. But how powerful those words can be. It also makes me feel as if I have brought the reader into the story...put them there beside the characters to feel and live the story with characters as they read. What better compliment can an a…

I'm glad you have a relationship with your father now. It is had for children to be separated from one parent. Our son missed so much of his daughters' lives because he moved away and only saw them in the summers. It hurt them; it hurt him.
On a more pleasant note, I started a new list on Amazon of books I've read and added Shabang's Story to it, along with several others. When you have a Web site or blog, I'll add it to mine as well.
Have a good week. Hope your dogs are well now.

This is my first Virtual Tour, but I've hosted several authors on their tours which is fun. I'm having a good time with mine now. Cheryl set it up, contacted the different blogs and stuff like that. Some of them interviewed me, others reviewed Rebel. I've written guest posts for still others, basically whatever they wanted me to do. Five more stops this week. I've posted them on my Web site: http://beverlystowemcclure.wordpress.com. Be sure and let me know when you have a site and I'll link to you. I still need to do a lot to mine, where is the time?
Have a good week.

A sequel to Shabang's Story sounds great, even a series would be nice. I think readers today enjoy seeing the characters in more than one book. I know I do.
Have a super week.

I finished Shabang's Story last night and enjoyed reading the book. I loved the tender relationship between Shabang and Nitro and Holly's and Matt's sweet romance. Yes, I cried in one scene. I smiled in others. I cheered for Shabang and Nitro when they were in Arizona. The ending was just perfect.
You've written a lovely book that all animal lovers should read. And even those who aren't animal lovers will enjoy going along with Holly and Matt to solve the mystery of the disappearing horses.
I'm so glad I read your story.

That movie business sounds so exciting. I'll say a little prayer that everything runs smoothly and we soon will be seeing your story on the big screen. What an awesome feeling that must be.
I've emailed my publisher about the date Rebel will be on Amazon, B&N. Waiting to hear. I don't know what the hold up is. Waiting is my middle name. :)
Have a good week.
